Whether his songs are either directly related to the Celtic Mythos or to folk traditions, his sincerity and belief bring the power of his songs into our modern-day lives. What an artist! We're proud to bring you his inspired music. Damh has very generously allowed us to feature his powerful music on our shows: SP01, SP03, SP05b, SP06, SP11, SP15 , SP17b , SP22 and the Damh the Bard interview in Special Episode SP19. From his latest and first live album, As Nature Intended, we are proud to bring you The Song of Awen in our Spring Equinox Holiday Special for 2011, SP23 and The Spirit of Albion in our Chatterbox Show for 2011, SP24. You can also hear his Land of the Ever-Young in our Irish Mythological Cycle Summary Show, SP25b.

His powerful protest song, The Sons and Daughters (of Robin Hood), can also be heard in our Chatterbox Show, SP24. He sets the key for our Samhain Holiday Special 2011, SP26, with his powerful song, The Cauldron Born from the album fo the same name. Look out for his amazing track, The Wheel in our New Year Holiday Special for 2012, SP27.

Biography

Damh is a modern-day Bard whose spirituality, and love of folk tradition, is expressed through his music, storytelling and poetry. Drawing on the Bardic traditions his performances are both entertaining and educational, weaving a tapestry of myth, peace, and anthems that speak directly to the heart, but never without a good splash of humour. Damh is a musical storyteller who works within the world of myth that cannot be proved; where the Faerie really do dance on Midsummer's Eve, where the trees talk, and the Hollow Hills take you into the realms of Annwn. Where the Goddess rides her horse, guiding you to magic, and the Horned God of old calls us from the shadows of the Greenwood. [source]

Damh is also the relaxed voice behind Druidcast, the podcast from the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (OBOD).
