The Bards of Mystic have allowed us to bring you the world premiere of their wonderful new track, The Standing Stone, on our Yule 2008 Holiday Special, SP06. You can also hear their beautifully moving The Warrior on our Spring Equinox 2009 Holiday Special, SP10. We are also proud to include their emotionally intense, The Old Man & the Fairy Queen, in our Irish Mythological Cycle Summary Show, SP25b.

Biography

William Louis Widmaier

The Captain of The Bards of Mystic, William is the creator of The Bards, writer of the stories, and that's his voice you hear narrating. By day he is an award winning marketing guru. He helped put companies like Earthlink and Helio on the map, and has also worked on the marketing of over 50 films. At night he writes. He is a produced feature film screenwriter, short story writer, and recently finished his first novel, A Feast at the Beach.

Andre Devon Magone

The Music Maker of The Bards of Mystic, Andre has been composing and performing music for almost 20 years. Projects he's worked on you may have heard include music for the films Thank you Goodnight, and Iron Palm as well as the Fox Sports NASCAR theme, various Discovery channel shows, the DVD The Making of Halo 2, and music for the game trailers for Max Payne, Railroad Tycoon, Rune, Evo 4x4 and many others.

JoJo Zawawi

A guest artist on The Standing Stone is Jojo Zawawi. She is an improvisational classical and jazz pianist and composer. A classical improvisationist is a very rare find, and Jojo is one of the best. After listening to her play Chick Corea called her a "Genius composer" and the Los Angles Valley News called her an "Improvisational genius."
